法律事务及政策 

注重教育和积极主动的领导, 法律事务和政策旨在确保学院遵守国家规定的法律义务, federal and local law; advise members of the executive team, faculty and staff on college matters; conduct training programs on departmental and institutional legal obligations; and make recommendations for new or updated college procedures and policies.

在诉讼不可避免的极少数情况下, 法律事务及政策处负责联络, 并监督…的工作, 为诉讼辩护的外部律师. 这种对高校法制健康的被动管理不是最优的，但有时却是必要的, 如果有充分的前瞻性计划, 能否将诉讼带来的负面影响降到最低.
